ARCHAELOGICAL MUSEUM
The museum is in the "Baglio Anselmi", built at
the end of the 18th century as a winery for the production of Marsala
wine.
The Baglio is made up of buildings which open out
into a large internal courtyard.
The exhibition space of the museum are situated in the big warehouses
of the old winery, where the wine barrels were kept.
In the courtyard there is an excavation site which
has brought to light a tomb, a furnace and some ancient walls whichdate
from the 4th century A.C.
The museum also exhibits a Punic ship.
