THE MUSEUM OF PREHISTORY

The Ligny tower was built in 1671 as a defensive bastion on the extreme point of Trapani. It holds a number of archaeological finds from prehistoric times and medieval relics brought up from wreckages of ships found in the sea around Trapani.

From the top floor there is a beautiful view of the city and of the Egadi islands.
