IL SANTUARIO
Legend has it that this church-fortress was built (in about the year1450)when a Hermit, considered almost to be a saint called thousands of pilgrims to worship in the pre-existing chapel. After a number of renovations the church arrived at its actual size: 104 metres base, 16m high, walls from a maximum of 2.5m to a minimum of 20cm thick
