THE ARCHAELOGICAL AREA
The acropolis is naturally protected on the East and South side by steep rock walls. In ancient times, on the other, less protected side there was a wall which was replaced in imperial times by a second, higher wall.
Outside this wall, a necropolis of Hellenistic times has been discovered.
